I remember, years ago, my old self making such comment: "What does Taylor Swift has that she is so famous?"Looking back, maybe her confidence or something I was mirroring triggered me, I am not sure... Two days ago, while doing cardio on the elliptical, I turned the TV to a documentary about Taylor Swift's career and life. I must confess that I was touched to learn about her journey in dealing with her public and being famous, and her journey of discovering her mission and stepping into her power, especially the "Kayne West situations - his comment and the song he made involving her name". Since becoming aware of my own spiritual journey, I have started to respect many people out there, including her, in a different level, however, watching this documentary also has showed me a side of someone I never followed on the news, listening to her songs or has been someone who I knew anything about her music, other than know her name and face, which I am can be pretty bad at...I realized that, like me, SHE is also HUMAN... but I also learned that: 1 - We all deserve respect! 2 - Not everyone will like you for your gifts, and that's ok, this won't make you more or less. Even Jesus, who was perfect! had people who didn't agree with who he was or his mission! 3 - We ALL have our struggles and lessons we have to go through 4 - A lot of money does not end people's problems, they have different lessons 5 - She is talented, I was the one who never learned about who she was 6 - Never judge someone by just seeing them once or twice, without knowing their story or path - even if you do know, don't judge! 7 - Always give compassion!! there are many other lessons to be learned here...what do you think, have you ever had someone you didn't like then you realized that it was you, not the other person? Let's face, Taylor Swift doesn't even know I exist lol |
