"Amaterasu is the Sun Goodness of Japan. When insulted by her crude brother, Susano-o, the storm God, she withdrawn into a cave and refused to come out. Distressed by the withdrawn of the Sun, Uzume, the Shaman-Goddess, did a comical bawdy dance to entertain the Gods and Goddesses and to provoke Amaterasu's curiosity. When Amaterasu opened her door to peek, she was dazzled by her own beauty, reflected to her in a mirror the Gods and Goddesses had installed, and came out."

Dear Beautiful Soul,One of the reasons why woman come to me is to lose weight by following the Ayurveda cleansing guidelines. There is certainly nothing wrong with trying to lose some weight, feeling amazing and on top of that give your digestive system a reset, also going through the program gives a whole new perspective about your body. However, some of those people come back to me a couple months later because they want to lose more weight, I explain to them that as long they keep their body functioning healthy according to the Ayurveda lifestyle instructions, they won't have a problem in loosing weight as i don't suggest anyone to go through cleansing process at least 8 months apart, case by case, and some people I would rather do every 12 months, with mini cleanses in between. Think with me, when you do a full 21 days body cleanse, it's like you will be killing everything in your body, the bad and the good, so your body needs time to strength and repopulate the system, so doing several times will weaken your immune system and leave you open to receive the unwanted tenants. For me, Ayurveda is more than a lifestyle, is a way of perceiving my physical and energetic body in a whole different level. I have learned and experienced that NO ONE in the whole Universe is like me, so i can't compare myself to anyone else, I am an UNIQUE BEING!
Most of us at some point acquired the idea that we must look a certain way, have a certain weight on the scale, have a hair that doesn't get messy, walk on high heels, have your nails ours done or whatever bullet must be added to the beauty manual of a "woman put together".Do you know your unique beauty or do you feel like you can't be beautiful because you don't look like a movie star? Amaterasu says that all woman possess the light of the feminine and the light is beauty. She advises to let go of preconceptions about what beauty is and allow your beauty to be. Wholeness is nurtured when we celebrate all our aspects. Embrace who you are, you are beautiful! you are amazing!
When you shine your light, you also allow others to shine theirs...
